Sssssh ~ it's a Secret

Actually no it isn’t! It’s one of the more profound lessons I continue to learn, enjoy & practice every day. It’s in asking, believing & receiving all that is there for me (and of course, YU!). The “believing” part is the hardest to implement of the three. It is the blind faith you put forth; the surrendering; the letting go of something, to set it free… in order for it to come back and reward you with a gift. And believe me when I say, there is ALWAYS a gift. It’s beautiful. And if you practice this enough times, you really begin to exercise it like a muscle and it becomes easier to do and you recognize the prize sooner than later.
Giving also opens up the door to receiving. How many opportunities do you have to give every day?
I love to smile so that others smile too (& I usually try with the grumpiest of the grumpy). I love to give kind words, especially when I sense that someone really needs to hear them. I have so much appreciation and love, I love to give that too. I give compliments, from the sincerest, most authentic place. I blow kisses to someone who is not happy with my driving (this always makes me giggle because I have this thought that they will question whether or not they know me from somewhere!!) I give the warmest feedback to a Manager when an employee has impressed me. I give by buying a stranger a coffee or even a dinner. I give by letting everyone go first. I give hugs, A LOT! I give as I have the most wonderful ability to gather people together in connection. And I give appreciation and encouragement.
There are so many opportunities for me (& YU) to give! This opens the door to receiving.
