About Me

Who are Charles & Charlene?

We were both born and raised in Winnipeg and the surrounding area. Married for almost 20 years and together through many joys and sorrows, we have a vibrant marriage and are blessed to have 4 wonderful children. Although our training has taken us (and still takes us!) around the world, we continue to live and work in the East Kildonan area of Winnipeg.

A coaching couple or a couple of coaches?

The idea of working with two coaches (counsellors) may feel intimidating.

As an individual client, you receive the benefit of two life experiences and working with both a male and a female coach (counsellor). If you prefer to work one-on-one with either of us you are welcome to make that choice; but most of our clients find themselves at ease with the two of us after a very short time.

If you are married or preparing to marry, you will find working with another married couple very effective, as we are able to relate with you as husbands, as wives, and as couples; so neither of you should feel isolated by your gender. With nearly 20 years of marriage behind us, we also have a great deal of experience in marital issues and you will find that experience being modelled at each session.

Larger groups such as families and business present unique challenges. By working in co-operation the two of us are able as coaches (counsellors) to work with and monitor large groups well, and when required we can "break away" to work simultaneously with individuals and/or smaller groups.
