Deborah holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University in NY. She has a background in radio and advertising and was an early Internet pioneer, working for Advance Publications, FamilyPoint, iVillage.com and consulting and advising web startups during the Internet boom. She is the co-author of Internet Jobs for the Rest of Us. After moving to southern California in 2002, Deborah founded her coaching practice (initially called Lifework Catalyst) working with career-changers, solo entrepreneurs and small business owners. She partnered to found Web Power Tools, a do-it-yourself website building system that has over 200 clients. She combined these two businesses in 2009 into Bold Business Works, offering tools and training for entrepreneurs. Deborah also founded Solo Entrepreneurs, a monthly networking group, The One Day Web Makeover with partner Libby Gill and runs the ongoing Conejo Jewish Job Support program.
