About Me

When I look back on my life I am convinced that every valley and mountain had their purpose to prepare me to serve as a transition and career coach and support people as they climb out of the valley or go over the mountain.

My pursuit of education and career choices took me into various knowledge areas that are considered by many people as extremes, that is, from pure science to theology. I had the benefit of starting off in pure science in high school and ended up studying agriculture with specialisation in agricultural economics in the university. I proceeded to business school for a Master in Business Administration with specialisation in financial management and accounting. I had a very good run in terms of employment and I had a choice of jobs along the way. After a couple of years spent working in human resource consulting, manufacturing, banking and financial services I decided to study theology. I started with a post-graduate diploma program and ended with a doctoral program in theology. My passion for supporting and serving others has always being the driving force behind what I do or study.

I have experienced a couple of transitions and career changes in my life:
• Moved from being an Employee to being an Entrepreneur after seven years in employment
• Lost a business and ended up with about CAD$1 million debt but was out of corporate and personal debt 3 years after – I knew my real friends then.
• Started all over again with two firms and made profit
• Moved from corporate environment into Christian Ministry. From being CEO/Entrepreneur to being Pastor/Trainer. It was challenging financially. I started developing biblical leadership and management development programs.
• Moved into corporate business world once again as a human resource professional. Started from the entry level and gradually progressing ahead.
