About Me

I grew up around excellence...athletic excellence and business excellence. Growing up in a family with four boys, competition was forced on me at an early age. My father ran professional sporting events (mainly tennis) so I was able to meet my child hero's like Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, and John McEnroe. In fact, I met Boris Becker a month before he won Wimbledon for the first time...he was only 17 years old at the time, but he was already an imposing figure.

At the age of twelve my love for tennis subsided as my passion for golf grew. I took quickly to the sport and began competing almost immediately in the local junior tournaments in the area. By the time I was in high school I was being recruited by some of the schools in the Pac-10. Ultimately I found myself playing for the University of Georgia in the late 90's. I was a two time All-American and won the NCAA Team Championship in 1999. The day after we won, I knew deep down that my golf career was over.

Hitting a ball with a stick. I was not going to be a Tiger Woods, so it seemed like a big waste of time for me from that day forward. I was searching for truth, meaning, and purpose and I knew that I would never find it on the golf course.

A few years later, after reading everything about life I could get my hands on, I found my way into the business world when a successful businessman decided that he was coming out of retirement. Together, we built several multi-million dollar LLC's in the Military Housing Privatization Industry. After seven years of that, I decided to open a non-profit organization that provides business efficiency solutions to other non-profits...at no cost to them. I took my business skill and applied it to something meaningful.....
