About Me

I am an educator, entrepreneur, world traveler, loyal husband, and active citizen. I have been mentoring, teaching, managing and coaching students and young professionals for close to ten years.

In 2007 I joined Teach for America and subsequently taught high school social studies for four years in New York City. During that time, I supported over four-hundred disadvantaged teenagers through the difficult hurdles of high school. I also assumed various leadership responsibilities, including coordinating school wide efforts and leading 22 students and 8 adults on an eleven day tour of Spain.

Currently I am running my own business, developing educational resources for high school history teachers. We are pioneering a new model for learning, using gamification, web-based applications, and cutting edge curriculum to transform how world history is taught. This venture gives me experience in finance, management, strategic planning, marketing and product development, and represents the culmination of several of my life's passions: education, entrepreneurship, games, social justice, and world affairs.

As a coach, I can offer my clients experienced mentorship and powerful tools to drive them toward their dreams. My coaching has a particular emphasis on performance, leadership and relationships. With my clients, we will examine a) what is most important to them b) how they currently intend to fulfill their goals and c) what strategies and tools will have the greatest impact for their path.

My ideal client will have great potential but is facing some obstacle to health, wealth, or happiness. Together we will identify what skills to refine, what work plans to establish, what relationships to cultivate in order to overcome said obstacles.
