About Me

Marilyn O’Hearne, ICF Master Certified Coach, is a globally experienced (since 1998) executive and leadership coach. The coveted ICF MCC puts Marilyn at the top 1% of her field.

Her clients report renewed people (our greatest natural resource!) and energy which lead to prosperity rather than burn out and loss of talent.) Through renewing confidence in and creatively developing their unique gifts and abilities, they experience transformational changes in individual and therefore organizational effectiveness. Marilyn’s gentle strength, warmth, humor, integrity, and excellent, direct communication promote the trust required for producing sustained results; providing a secure foundation while challenging clients to be their best. She quickly assesses a situation and co-develops a plan with her clients to achieve their goals.

Clients include executive and career transition coaching for local/global/national firms, public, private and not for profit sectors. She has lived in Spain and Brazil; served as an adjunct professor of Organizational Behavior and International Business in Hong Kong and Malaysia; trains and mentors coaches. A leader herself, Marilyn is a Director, Global International Coach Federation Board, on her second 3 year board term, including 2 years as a Vice-President.

Marilyn contributed to Coaching by the Book and Law and Ethics in Coaching and has authored a workbook, 2 column series, and many articles as well as being frequently quoted by the media. Her Masters is from KU and her BA from SMU. She gives back to the community including coaching for the UN and Habitat for Humanity.
