Coaching people is what I was born to do! Therefore, I put my heart and soul into each client I work with, utilizing my formal, graduate education and my human resources and business experience working in a variety of industries to assist my clients.
I believe that everyone possesses unique gifts and talents that can be used to live happy, prosperous lives. And, I am extremely fervent about helping my clients find this for themselves. My passion is evidenced in the fact that I have coached clients within the workplace, higher education setting and in the community over the last 15 years. My experience has involved coaching employees and leaders, consulting, teaching in higher education and advising individuals in creating life, career and business plans.
I believe in the power of the human spirit, which means that my work with you will focus on your truest desires, defining and strengthening your assets and finding ways to improve your outlook.
There are several important aspects of my work. One involves assisting small business owners with developing systems that will help them achieve success. Another involves creating career plans with clients that sustain their overall goals, while the other involves assisting clients with getting out of their own way, so they can achieve their dream.
My clients have said that I provide sound advice and an empathetic ear without becoming overbearing. I utilize the experience and education I have gained to assist my clients in discerning their strengths, honing them and utilizing them to meet their goals.

I truly enjoyed my sessions with Melissa. She helped me to look beyond the surface and delve deeper to see what was preventing me from moving forward.
I wanted to take this time to thank Mrs. Marshall for the services that were provided to me. I received assistance with my career development goals. I purchased the career development package which included two new professional resumes, career counseling and advising. As a result of these services I was able to obtain a new job as Program Director.

I have been working with Ms. Marshall since 8/2012, and she has been stellar in everyway.
