Trena's coaching changed my life. She helped me get to a whole other phase of my life that I would not have accessed without her coaching. Trena says that her coaching is not mentoring, teaching or counseling. She does not tell you what choices to make or help you become more like her, and she is not concerned about resolving your past. Trena helps point you to the issues you need to address; she helps you clarify and focus on what is important and unimportant; she helps you to embrace what you need to; and she helps you pull out an action plan and establish the accountability with her that you deem necessary. This is what Trena did for me. The beauty of her coaching is that it will be different for every person. She pulls at the answers already inside of you. Trena got me to a whole other phase of my life, after seeing her for 6 months, which I will now describe. I did not come to Trena trying to necessarily "get" anywhere. In fact, I was skeptical. I felt comfortable with my life and saw no way in which she could help me. But my first session I cried like a baby. She helped me to see area of my life that was screaming for attention: relationships. Our next coaching sessions were all about how I can bring the kind of relationships I wanted in my life closer to me. Out of that I started Alanna's Artists Quarter, a local gathering of artists for creative exchange. I have had a few installments to date, all successful, and it keeps getting better. Out of those sessions also came my business model as a teaching artist. Trena helped me embrace my love and passion to teach and work creatively with young people, and we just kept going. So I began developing lesson plans and templates for workshops. I experimented and pitched them to many various places. Some worked and some didn't, but the ones that "didn't" helped me to refine my mission/ template and brought me to outlets that do work. I developed a whole identity as a teaching artist that I could not without Trena, and that has broadened. Now I am increasingly developing relationships with organizations; I am increasingly employed as a teaching artist; I run with every creative idea I have and every effort to collaborate with others; and I embrace challenges (because I no longer have any "cap" or complex to limit my desire for personal growth). Trena helped me to plant the seeds for a whole new turn in my life that keeps growing. After all of this was set into motion, very organically Trena and I began to focus on love, friendship and romance in relationships. Trena helped me to embrace my desires for friendship and romance. This was a big moment for me. As a result, those kind of relationships started appearing in my life, and to a special man whom I had met in March of 2010, by the end of summer we were a couple. Soon after, just as they had started, very organically my coaching sessions came to an end. In October that special man proposed to me and the mystery continues to unfold. In many ways he feels like the answer to my prayers, as our love continues to blossom. God gave me someone who is also an artist and mutually supportive, gifted, brilliant, loving, and who "gets" me like nobody I have ever met. We work together professionally and continue to seek more opportunities. I hope the Lord gives us a long life together. I am increasingly finding challenge and satisfaction in my life and love, and much of it I owe to Trena. Thank you and Much Love

Keep doing everything you are doing cause you're wonderful. Your very good at what you do. You communicate very well. Very good sense of empathy, understanding, good deal of clarity to observations and honesty that I respect very much.
