Visheka is an authentic human being. I had and continue to have numerous opportunities to meet and engage in deep conversations with her. She is full of positive energy and love; a being that has a capacity to find the right tools and resources to help people. Visheka is able to show me the enormous potential of resources which are available within me. During her life journey she is evolving and blossoming with lots of transformations like a butterfly. She shows her youthfulness along with a wisdom of elders. I am honoured by having Visheka as a true friend and coach. Namasté.

I participated in a leadership session with Visheka and a group my High School Big Brothers and Big Sisters. I had not given them a lot of detail as to the specifics of the Leadership Program, as I wanted them to be open and express themselves in a way that was comfortable for them. In working with Visheka she understood the needs and abilities of my group, and tailored a session to fit their needs. We were able to schedule a three hour session, and I was truly amazed and the range of emotion, personal expression, reflection and discussions that we were able to accomplish in what seemed like a quick three hours. The students were able to express themselves and talk about their goals, thoughts and emotions; everyone became committed to the open welcoming atmosphere that Visheka modeled for us upon arrival. I really saw a change in my students, they became focused and connected to the other students in the group (some of whom they had never met), and were able to share and grow without being scared or inhibited. It was an expressive and uplifting experience, I would recommend this to groups that want to form a tighter bond, and to people who would want to be able to learn more about themselves. I saw a terrific new side of many students that day, and I now encourage them to bring out that authentic self more often.

I have been through a lot of struggles in my life, at such a young age you would picture a 10-year-old running around in the playground with all the other kids but instead I was forced to stay home. When I turned 14, I was inspired to write poetry because that was the only thing that relieved the pain from inside of me. Everyone has their own strategies and you definitely have a gift from god to inspire others and you have completed your job. I walked into the workshop with no inspiration inside of me, to complete what I want to achieve in life. When I was in that room with you I felt as if nothing else mattered all my stress, pain and bad thoughts went away and you brought in happy thoughts. I have been to a social worker and a psychiatrist because of the depression in my past I had no interest in life. Neither of those two people could help me overcome the pain I was going through, the strategies that you have used are what I have been looking for all along to help me and they sure did help me a lot. I felt more positive when I walked out the door after the workshop was over I walked out with a different attitude a big smile on my face. You should be very proud of yourself, for being able to connect with people in such a short period of time and making a great difference in people’s life. I appreciate the time and effort you put into listening to what I had to say and really connecting with me, we definitely need more people in this world like you.

I have been looking for guidance to help me find my inner strengths and someone to guide me in the right direction with choices that I am faced with in my life. A workshop by Visheka was offered to me through Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa. I was very fortunate to be invited to attend this inspiring workshop that helped me to look at life in a totally new perspective. Visheka is a very outgoing, amazing person to be given a chance to work with. She connected very well with each and every one of us that were invited to attend the workshop. I strongly recommend that anyone who is given the chance to attend would love all of the activities that Visheka has to offer. She helped me to open up in front of some strangers because she gave me the confidence that I needed. Since attending this workshop, I have made goals for myself that I strive to accomplish before the year has finished. Thank you very much for offering and inviting me to such an amazing workshop.

I’d like to thank Visheka for the invaluable service that she provides. I understand the universal concepts that she provides but I was never able to implement then as effectively as I could. Visheka is an expert in implementing those concepts in her own life which makes her a great role model. She really helped restructure my busy life and make daily tasks for me so much easier. She helped me find the root of the reasons why I did so many things which helped me break free from quite a few bad habits in a very short period of time. I know people who succeed in making big changes in their lives have to want to change but I’d like to add that a great facilitator will be the deciding factor on how big your changes will be.
