We’ve done it. We crossed the imaginary line from December 31st to January 1st, and we’ve done it successfully. Well, the Earth is still in one piece, but unfortunately, other non-positive things continue too.
Using the 80/20 percent rule, 80 percent of changes are happening gradually, and only 20 percent happen at once, this is why I would like you to look at the significance we give to New Year’s expectations, resolutions, promises, and such.
Our Human nature is a continuous one, our intentions and actions therefore, should be continuous too. Of course, it is wonderful to reach a conclusion (of any kind), and decide to change our intentions and actions from one point onward, but we have to prepare for it otherwise, it will become a failed trial.
Firstly, wakeup, look at your life and all the life you effect. Discern if a change is needed, and if yes, check if you’re willing to change. Thereafter, check whether you’re ready to change, and only then if you have all that it takes to bring the change about.
Change is something we all should be used to, as it is the only constant in life, but this is not to say that everybody welcomes it. Therefore, your own awareness of yourself and what is needed might just make a necessary change more palatable.
My blessing is always: remember to be kind to yourself and others while, very diligently, you keep aware of your life and all that is in it. Do the necessary for growth, empowerment, and remember that happiness is born of simplicity.
What is not managed in this New Year, may be managed any day after it – if you willing to.
