To succeed at marketing your coaching services in a competitive Internet landscape, you need to have a clear and concise message that passes the 10-second test<\/a>. If the interest of your ideal clients is not peaked in less than 10 seconds, they\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re going to hit the \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cback\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d button and check out the next coach.<\/p>\n

    Hunter\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s description of her ideal client fits the formula almost perfectly. She clearly identifies who she works with (busy professionals), what their pain is (stress and overwhelm), and what her unique solution is (finding a balance between accelerated growth and extreme self-care).<\/p>\n

    I don\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t know if it\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s intentional or not but in the \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cabout me\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d section of her profile, she makes a point of describing her services rather than her personal history. If you\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re like a lot of the coaches I talk to, you may struggle to write about yourself. It\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s natural to feel that way because you\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re selling a highly personalized service and you feel like you need to expose everything about you. Hunter doesn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t do that. It\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s a subtle but valuable shift in thinking to consider how we, as coaches, are selling a service and not ourselves.<\/p>\n

    She also does a good job adding articles with excellent titles that reinforces what she\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s all about.<\/p>\n

    What I like about Doris\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 profile is that she has tapped into a distinct pain her ideal clients feel (i.e. fear) and smartly positioned herself as the \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cJoy Coach\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d. The language she uses throughout her profile reinforces her brand. She uses inviting copy such as \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cdiscover how easily\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d, \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cenjoy confidence and joy\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d, and \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cwork with Doris is fun\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d.<\/p>\n
