About me

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Gabriela Marpozan, and I am a certified life coach. 

My path toward the mental health industry has been certainly less than linear. Growing up in Romania, I went to an international school where I completed the IB. I then went on to study classical music singing, and received my Bachelor’s of Music in Voice Performance in Ohio from Baldwin Wallace University. I decided afterward that I wanted to shift my focus toward psychology, because I was interested in understanding myself and the world a little better. I attended Boston College, where I received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.

I now continue to live in Boston, where I work as a clinician at an emergency mental health agency. Although I hate the cold, I put up with Boston weather because of how much I love the city, my friends, and the people I am surrounded by. I love spending my free time getting dressed up and exploring new cafes, restaurants, and bars with my friends. 

Together with my clients, I am committed to figuring out what truly inspires and drives them, and how they can build a life geared toward achieving those goals. When we find what is truly important to each of us, life just makes a little more sense.

What is coaching

Coaching is a co-created experience where you are the expert! Many people feel like there is a gap between where they want to be and where they are now. Life coaching can help bridge that gap. More specifically, mindset coaching focuses on how our thoughts create our actions/patterns, and how these ultimately create our reality. Change your mind. Change your life.

Define:

It all starts by learning how to focus on a goal. Where do you want to be? Who do you want to become? What do you want to achieve?

Asses:

We then look at your patterns, your habits, and your actions. There are two categories of patterns: those that serve the goal, and those that don’t.

Align:

Finally, we find ways to increase patterns that serve our goal and decrease those that don’t. This way, our patterns, actions, and habits all align with our goals.

It's important to note that mindset life coaching is not therapy or counseling. Nor is it advice giving. While it can address certain emotional and psychological aspects, its primary focus is on personal growth, goal achievement, and mindset development. We will work collaboratively cultivate self-discovery, provide guidance, and empowerment that lead to bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
