Dialectics, the heart of DBT, is about acknowledging life's contradictions. It's recognizing, "I'm a powerhouse at work but sometimes I feel so overwhelmed that I can barely function." Or, “I seem fine on the outside but on the inside I’m falling apart.” It's about seeing beyond black and white, embracing that life can be both stormy and sunny at the same time.
