Brandy Sommer Wood

I am a dedicated Professional Certified Life Coach with a coaching practice called Vitality Life Coaching. As a coach, I enable women to bring beauty, self-awareness and confidence together to create vital and balanced lives.

My inspiration to coach women is in part due to my own life experience. When I was a child, I lost my mother to an illness that rendered her incapable of parenting. I struggled with the challenge of developing connection to the family that wanted to adopt me. After five years, I was returned to my biological grandparents. I then experienced the profound loss of the family that had cared for me. Due to these experiences, I developed resilience and determination which allows me to coach women who feel a sense of loss and need to reconnect with their fundamental strength and creativity.

For many years, I explored positive psychology and listened to the challenges of other women. I decided to use both positive psychology and my creative skills by attending the International Academy of Make-up Artistry. As a freelance Make-up Artist, I help women develop their individual style and beauty. In my ten years of experience, I've found that integrating external and internal beauty creates personal alignment and life balance.

After volunteering in a public relations role in Rome, I further developed my ability to assist women by completing the Professional Coaching Certification Program, studying natural nutrition and Reiki healing. I established Vitality Life Coaching in 2008.

With my unique combination of certification and experience, I am able to incorporate make-up artistry, nutritional council, Reiki and positive psychology to offer an intuitive, compassionate and transformational life coaching experience.
