It's impossible for me to express all the ways in which your coaching has helped me, supported me and improved my life overall. I thought I had an idea of what being coached would be like but those ideas were shattered pretty early on in our work together. Your ability to calm me when I was completely unable to focus and get me to put a whole thought together when I didn't think I could is amazing. Your ability to gently yet firmly guide me to the answers I already had (shoved so deeply) in myself is a skill I'll make good use of the rest of my life. Over the years I've been through a lot of therapy but never learned the skills you taught me. I learned, through your coaching, to keep myself focused in the face of chaos; to trust myself that I have all the answers to my own questions and that I am capable of overcoming anything in my way to succeed to my biggest dreams and goals.

When I first met Carol I was distraught, confused, somewhat depressed and unhopeful about life and my entire situation. I wanted to be able to focus again and see things clearer. I wanted to get back to being me, before my whole ordeal happened. I wanted to be able to care for my son properly without feeling anger and resentment. Most importantly I wanted to be able to trust myself and my decisions. Carol was heaven sent in my eyes. She is amazing in every sense of the word! Carol taught me so many things. She helped me find myself again. Every time I panic I hear her words in my head. I remember her breathing techniques and the exercises she taught me. She has changed my life for the better.

Carolena has so many wonderful strengths! She is such a beautiful person with an amazing disposition. She is attentive and pleasant. Carol supports me, she not only believes in me but she makes sure that I fully understand what it takes to get the things I want. Enabling me to make my goals more realistic. She has the innate ability to see what I can’t see. Not only does she view things differently but she also manages to find all the possible solutions and courses of action to take in any predicament. As where I only see one solution to a problem she exposes many different methods to deal with things. I think the best part of the experience is the self-confidence I’ve gained in pursuing my wants and needs. I truly enjoy the fact that there is somebody that makes my viewpoint more broad, giving me the reassurance that I need to get the thing I want out of my life.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect being the first time I’ve been coached. Carol did a great job. After a couple of sessions she stated to get a better understanding of who I was, particularly my nature. She allowed me to see problems from a different perspective and encouraged me to confront issues that were bothering me. Each week I was given homework which Carole would follow up with me in the next session to see how I had done. If I hadn’t completed some of the homework, it was discussed and altered if necessary to be achieved by the next session. I really appreciate Carol’s balance of sensitivity and directness. When I really struggled with certain issues she was calm and gave me the space to work through them and in other times, when I needed it, she’d be more direct – which for me was essential at at times to get me into action. There was so many highlights along the journey however the most notable was the realizations I experienced in each session leaving me buzzing for days afterward. Carol’s strong questions made me more aware of what I really wanted and how I had developed reactions/habits that needed to be addressed. I became more confident and self-away and able to face most issues immediately. What a roller coaster of a journey but it was brilliant!

Carol was my first coach and an absolute inspiration to me. I really admire her coaching style – the perfect balance of strength and honesty with a blend of softness and humour helping give me a kick along when I was struggling with an issue and just enough light-heartedness to make it the most enjoyable experience. In the few months that I worked with Carol I grew an enormous amount and I continue to use those things that i learned in that time as I move forward in my life. I contacted Carol for creativity coaching. I expected to receive support for my creative writing. Carol exceeded my expectations. Carol supported me as a whole person...as my creativity informs all of my life. Throughout our sessions she coached me as a wife, mother, step mother, daughter, sister – all of me with great deal of compassion. Every time I speak with Carol she creates a space in which I feel completely safe. Her compassion and ability to listen intently is amazing and her questions are pointed, yet presented in a supportive way. Her openminded-ness and familiarity with the creative process makes her a great coach. Through working with Carol I actually broke through a writer’s block that I have had for a good ten years. My relationship with my daughter has improved tremendously through my coaching and in each session, without exaggeration, something important happens. Keep proposing those strong questions Carol!
