Coach Details

My personal mission is to choose love rather than fear, to be free in thought and action, to embrace mystery and wonder, to explore and inhabit the natural world, to trust the Universe and its wisdom, to give and receive support, to see the best in each person and situation, to enjoy the ride and to be true to my soul.

In an effort to fulfill my mission, I have made several significant career moves. I graduated summa cum laude from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and went to work for The Dow Chemical Company in Plaquemine, Louisiana as a production engineer in a polyethylene manufacturing plant.

After I met my husband, Mike, and we decided to make Denver our home, I became a product consultant and trainer for Decisioneering, Inc., a small software company that produced Crystal Ball (Monte Carlo simulation) software. While at Decisioneering, I achieved Six Sigma Black Belt certification. (This is the process improvement type of black belt, not the karate kind!)

Next, I became a continuous improvement specialist and continuous improvement manager for United Airlines.

I left my position at United to devote myself full-time to the development of my own business. In addition to coaching, I also help small and mid-sized sized companies in Denver, Colorado use Six Sigma, Lean, statistical analysis and modeling to solve business problems through Black Belt on Demand.

I was trained by the Coaches Training Institute and have been recognized as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach.

My mission as your coach is to help you overcome internal and external obstacles as you seek to make a career move that honors your authenticity.

I love my work, and I love my life. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and old and new friends that I enjoy spending time with. I also have fun running, playing softball, being outdoors, gardening, reading, and traveling.

Personal Information

About Me:

I’ve made major career transitions from using my chemical engineering degree in a polyethylene manufacturing plant to training people to use statistical software to leading process improvement work and culture change to being a solopreneur. It was never easy. I faced fears and challenges as simple as not knowing what to do next and as complex as understanding how my work played into my identity. I know that the spark that tells you it is time to move on doesn’t always arrive at a convenient time or with all the answers, and I know that ultimately there is no greater satisfaction than following that burst of energy and light – even if you don’t know where it is taking you yet.

Life Purpose:

My personal mission is to choose love rather than fear, to be free in thought and action, to embrace mystery and wonder, to explore and inhabit the natural world, to trust the Universe and its wisdom, to give and receive support, to see the best in each person and situation, to enjoy the ride and to be true to my soul.

The common thread in all my varied work in the world is that I assist people in making decisions that maximize their opportunity to achieve their desired outcomes.

As a coach, my mission is to help clients overcome internal and external obstacles as they seek to make career moves honoring their authenticity.
