About Me

I've spent much of my adult life helping people become motivated in their studies, projects and career. Working as a university teacher, a large part of my job was helping students find the motivation to succeed at their goals. Sometimes I've had to make them pull back and find more realistic goals, other times I've had to push them to make goals that truly challenged, and sometimes I had to help them discover what their goals are.

I use this experience in my coaching, whether it's dealing with life, career, or relationships, I try to find out what each individual person wants to achieve and can achieve. Once that is known, I can provide them the motivation, ideas and advice to achieve their dreams.

Another technique I use in coaching is challenging peoples fears and pushing their boundaries.

In my own life I have pushed myself to challenge my fears, I've traveled around the world after growing up in a small town. I became a teacher and then a life coach despite suffering stage fright. I am becoming an author, despite fearing rejection. I have learned that challenging fear is the only way to defeat it.

With my clients I try to make them face their own fears, to leave the normal behind and take a chance. I always work with them as they do this, so that they don't end up in over their heads, but I make them face new ideas, challenges and most importantly new opportunities.

By providing motivational support, proper goals, and pushing for change in themselves, their careers and their relationships, my clients become stronger, more confident and more successful.
