About Me
I have been properly trained holding certification from New York University as a Personal Life Coach, and am credentialed by the International Coach Federation. I am accredited and licensed by the Hay Group to use and provide feedback using the Emotional & Social Competency Inventory (ESCI). I have accumulated 34 years of experience nurturing human potential; 15 fifteen years of entrepreneurial experience, and ten years teaching, which allows me to bring a sharpened insight and understanding to all challenges. My training and experience allow me to move clients towards what they want to achieve/change on their terms.
I love what I do!
My goal is to collaborate with people who choose to take a more successful and enjoyable path through life.
My coaching style is infused with positive psychology, tempered with a high regard for emotional intelligence, and the neuroscience that explains how we think. When appropriate, I share my knowledge with clients in a way that empowers them to use their thinking more effectively instead of just 'automatic' thinking. As a result, my clients are able to become more authentic and effective players in their own lives.
I am in a very generous stage of life, and my clients definitely benefit from the breadth of experience I have had the good fortune to enjoy. It is very satisfying to me when a client becomes empowered as a result of our working together.

Choosing to work with Ellen is one of the best decisions I ever made. Her coaching helped me realize my true potential, but more importantly that the problems I had created were only insurmountable in my mind. Once I realized what I had created, it became easier to dissemble and manage!
Ellen’s coaching expertise is just the beginning of what to expect from working with her. She provides genuine compassion, nurturing guidance, coupled with professionalism and trust providing a path to unbiased clarity in difficult and challenging situations.
I never expected a life coach to be able to handle both professional and personal problems simultaneously, but Ellen proved her abilities and talents were up to the task. If you want the opportunity to change your life, or better yourself personally and professionally, I highly recommend Ellen! Her service is undoubtedly worth your time and investment. There is no price on happiness!

My thinking has changed for the better and I have you to thank! Previously when life threw a few wrenches into my plans I would be so bothered by it all. I would second guess every decision made: feel guilty if 'wrong' ones were made and spend so much energy spinning my emotional wheels that I'd lose focus. Our sessions taught me to experience it differently. I am measurably more effective and productive as a result which has brought more success and enjoyment into my personal and professional life!
It is so powerful working with you!

Before I started working with Ellen I had hit the wall. I was concerned that it would be difficult to get unstuck and back on track. I knew that a professional coach was my best bet and Ellen was the right choice. She was an instant encouragement and an effective coach. In the three months that I worked with Ellen I developed and executed a plan to get out there and make my own opportunities rather than wait for something to come along. As a direct result of working with Ellen, I was able to recognize my strengths, make the best of use of them and landed my dream job!

You are a gift to any client who has the privilege of working with you.
With-held at Client's Request
You are an attentive listener. You not only remember the facts but the personal feelings, (struggles, dilemmas and hopes) which are expressed. You pay attention to the themes that someone returns to again and again but you also catch inconsistencies. You never make someone apologetic for who and what they are, but you celebrate their strengths and potential. You are able to help people isolate that which they need to recognize about themselves what they need to do to remove roadblocks. A session does not end when someone leaves you—one is left with much on which to reflect. You are, on top of it all, an intelligent, committed, and nice human being—one who rejoices in other’s happiness’s and accomplishments. You are a positive can-do person without any sanctimoniousness. You are someone I trust.
Name WIth-held
It’s hard to put into words quite frankly how Ellen’s skills and talents have affected my life over the last year. As an incredibly busy business woman and mom who struggles to keep multiple balls up in the air with one hand, and multiple plates spinning with the other, she has helped me get unstuck from ‘stupid’ more times than I care to admit. Ever have a desk covered with papers, all representing different projects and think if you stare at them they’ll go away on their own? Ever feel so overwhelmed with multiple deadlines that rather than put your head down and plow ahead you simply move pencils from one side of your desk to the other? Ellen is second to none in helping unscramble your brain to get straight forward thinking. What she can do is amazing. What she can get me to do is more amazing. Let me sum things up like this; have you ever stood mere inches away from a Georges Seurat painting? Georges Seurat invented the painting technique known as Pointillism, which uses tiny dots instead of broad strokes to put paint down on canvas. It is incredibly time consuming. When you stand mere inches in front of one of his paintings, you don’t see anything; everything is a blur. But when you start moving backwards, his canvas becomes crystal clear . . . it’s amazing. All those tiny dots form the most magnificent classic master painting. That’s how it is to work with Ellen. The more you work with her, the further away you get from the issues that brought you to her, the more focused your brain becomes, the more clearly you see. . . and wonderful things happen.

“Ellen's value to her clients far exceeds her coaching expertise. Her perspectives on attitude, finish-line focus, and a sky's the limit world view have enriched me. She takes the time to get to know you, and ask probative questions designed to make your entire life complete. I have experienced great personal growth since we met and will continue to do so. I will gladly recommend Ellen to all my business colleagues and friends.” April 4, 2012
