About Me
My mission is to help you heal from whatever holds you back in your relationship, your career, or your life; to help you get clear on what you want to create, and to help you design a powerful blueprint for accomplishing your goals. If you have stuck fears or beliefs that sabotage you, I'll help you to break through and stay on course using powerful techniques like TAT that speed up the process and provide enormous insight and energy. Also, if relevant, I can also provide a full battery of personality and career assessments to help you understand yourself at a deep level. My approach is gentle, practical, respectful, and peace-enhancing.
My credentials include a PhD in Life Coaching and Human Development, an MFA, and graduate training in Clinical Social Work, plus, I'm a certified TAT energy-meridian practitioner and Purpose Clarity coach. I've got over 20 years of experience helping clients to heal and move forward, and am the author of many books and articles on healing and personal growth, including Boldly Live as You've Never Lived Before. I spent 23 years as part of a spiritual community and where appropriate, use applied spiritual insight techniques with clients. Also, I've run large public employment programs and have many years of experience specifically in career and job-search coaching.
I use a combination of solutions-focused counseling and energy-meridian psychologies like Tapas Acupressure Technique and EFT, which go right to the heart of issues and lead to profound, rapid healing. I also use alternative healing modalities when appropriate, including visualization, meditation, and focused writing.
One of my clients said that my "vision for her enlarged" her vision for herself. That's what I hope for with all of my clients--that our work together will help you to discover the wondrous possibilities that live inside of you, to "enlarge your vision" for yourself.
