About Me
Ms. Harris has worked in the people-helping field for over 17 years in a variety of capacities, serving hundreds of individuals and groups. She has accumulated over 5,000 coaching and counseling hours in her career. She is a Registerd Addiction Specialist (State of California), Certified Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor, (AODC), a Certified Workforce Develoment Professional (CWDP), a Educational and Vocational Guidance Practitioner (EVGP), and is currently completing the requirements necessary for ICF certification as a PCC.
Ms. Harris has a unique understanding of the life challenges that people face every day. For nearly two decades, she’s served the formerly incarcerated, those with physical and developmental disabilities, the homeless and the disenfranchised. She assists individuals with the range of life challenges by providing coaching, support and resource identification. She works with people to help them identify areas of concern and make course corrections by coaching on; values clarification, visioning, goal-setting, identification of one’s barriers, relapse prevention, self-esteem and self-concept, to name a few. Additionally, she assists dozens of people with finding meaningful employment through employability skills workshops and one-on-one coaching.
Ms. Harris' work is based on one overriding philosophy; the Universe designed this reality so that everyone might reach his or her full potential as a Divine Being; it is our birthright and our destiny.
