About Me

I am passionate about helping people fulfil their dreams! In fact, I am so fascinated with how people change that I did my doctoral degree to find out what gets us into action to reach our goals. During my research, I worked with women who succeeded in losing weight – not an easy change! What I've learned from them, and from those I’ve worked with over the years, has informed the way I approach coaching and relate to clients.

I believe that at the heart of the change process is a compelling vision of the future we want to achieve. Other winning elements driving success are concrete action plans, an unshakable belief that we can do what we set out to accomplish, support from others who believe in us, and the will to keep going until we get the results we want. This is why I am convinced that coaching can help.

Coaching is an empowering relationship. As your coach, I will work with you to set up the conditions for success. I will help you clarify your vision of the future and design a road map to achieve what you so deeply desire. Together, we will shine a light on your strengths; we will devise strategies to overcome obstacles standing in your path and look for creative ways to make the most of the opportunities around you. My commitment is to provide caring support as you go about replacing unproductive behaviors and eliminate limiting beliefs that prevent you from achieving the results you want. With your permission, I will also hold you accountable to stay the course until you have confidently reached your chosen destination. Together, we will celebrate your success.

My doctorate (2010) is in individual behavior change. I am a certified coach. As co-director of the Professional and Personal Coach Certificate program at Concordia University in Montreal, I mentor those who want to become coaches. I also teach courses such as Interpersonal Communication, Working in Teams, and Health Promotion. I am a Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Trainer.
