What do you want to achieve in the next year by hiring a coach?

I’ve been in a Sales role since I graduated college 12ish years ago, and have had success, but I’ve recently left my previous hyper growth company after 5.5 years due to burn out. I’ve been on the career search for about 3 months now and feel like I’m just going through the motions, rather than finding the career and role that I can really be fulfilled in. I’m looking to find a new career, new industry, and new role where I am happy and feel like I’m making an impact, while also managing a strong work-life balance.

Tell us about yourself.

I’m 35, married, with a child on the way. My wife and I have a pretty busy social life and work has always been a big contributor to that. I thrive on positive reinforcement, and helping out my colleagues be successful. I typically throw myself into my work, but being in sales, it’s always lingering when I step away. I’m not financially motivated in the aspect of “money is everything”, but I am in regard to knowing the lifestyle I’ve lived when making good money. I struggle with a lot of the expectations I set for myself, and am trying to find the balance of a role where I can be successful financially, but also enjoy what I love and prioritize my family. As I’ve been job searching, I have gone back and forth between sales and “not sales”, as selling myself as the best candidate for a “non-sales” role seems impossible. I am a very open and honest individual and know I’ll be successful at any role I step into, but finding the right one is my main focus.
