What do you want to achieve in the next year by hiring a coach?
I’ve created a detailed business strategy, 90% of the website and tools are completed, and I’ve outlined a pre-launch and 6-month post-launch growth plan. The startup has been low-cost so far (around $2,000), and I’ve secured the domain and confirmed that the name is unique within my niche.
Where I’m seeking the most guidance is:
Understanding how launching the business interacts with my current status as a sole proprietor/independent contractor.
What legal or operational steps I might still need to take (e.g., business registration, insurance, bookkeeping setup).
Financial best practices and long-term planning for sustainable revenue.
A second opinion or expert feedback on how to maximize early momentum and build a strong foundation for success.
This part of the business—paperwork, logistics, and compliance—isn’t where I feel most confident, so I’m looking for practical tips, clear direction, and reassurance that I’m on the right track.

I’ve created a detailed and thoughtful business strategy for an Autism Support Coaching service built on The Connection Breakthrough System. The business is designed to provide personalized coaching for individuals and families navigating Autism, offering inclusive, strengths-based support with practical tools, community connection, and evidence-informed practices. My goal is to bridge gaps in understanding, access, and connection—helping clients feel empowered and supported every step of the way. So far, I’ve: Developed 90% of the website with clear service descriptions, intake pathways, and a professional yet welcoming design. Created a library of tools and materials to support clients across different needs and age groups—these include personalized coaching frameworks, downloadable resources, social scripts, planning templates, and visual supports. Built out social media profiles for Instagram and Facebook, with branded content ready for posting to build engagement and trust with my audience. Drafted a structured 2–4 week pre-launch plan, including teaser content, early community building, and soft outreach to potential referral sources. Outlined a 6-month post-launch growth plan, including marketing strategies, partnerships with allied professionals, feedback loops for service improvement, and phased offerings like group sessions or webinars. Kept the startup cost relatively low (about $2,000) by leveraging my existing skills and doing most of the design and planning myself. The brand is built on empathy, accessibility, and real-world impact. I’ve also confirmed the business name is unique within this space, and I’ve secured the domain. I’m currently a sole proprietor and independent contractor, so my biggest questions now are: What’s the best way to register and structure this as a second business? Are there legal or tax considerations I should be aware of? What are best practices for setting up operations (invoicing, client management, compliance, etc.) from day one? I’d really value professional insight, a second set of eyes on my planning, and any tips that could help strengthen the business foundation and long-term success.
