Tell us about yourself.
About Me: Location: Richardson, TX for the past 7 years. Age: 58. Family: Married 39 years and father with 5 grown children ranging in age from 24-36 years who live in Abilene, Texas (daughter), Austin, TX (daughter and son in law); Chattanooga, Tennessee (daughter, son in law and grandson); Columbus, Ohio youngest son in school, and son in California now hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Profession: Physical Therapist for 32 years now working in Skilled Nursing/Long term care with past experience in rehab department and regional rehab management. My wife and I entering a time of work transition. She works in bookkeeping and personal/business consulting and we are entertaining the possibility of relocating to facilitate increased connection with our kids and/or assist with caregiving to our surviving widow/widower parents who also live in Abilene, TX. We are interested in active healthy lifestyles including optimal nutrition, regular cardio running (me), cycling (my wife) and strength training lifting weights (both of us). We lived in Encinitas, CA in June 2014-April 2016 and loved many things about living there, but moved back to Abilene, Texas to be closer to family precipitated by changes in employment reducing our income to where we could no longer keep up with the cost of living there. I have tried multiple times to return to California seeking permanent jobs and travel assignments but have become very frustrated and feel stuck. We had the support of a coach who assisted me greatly leading up to our first move to California and I have considered obtaining additional coaching. I am open to group coaching as a cost effective alternative or supplement to one on one coaching.
