What do you want to achieve in the next year by hiring a coach?

i’ve spent more than 40 years teaching ballroom dance and building a career in education. now that i’m mostly retired, i’m shifting into mentoring and consulting, and it feels like a new chapter but also uncertain territory. i’ve written and published 2 books that i’m proud of, and i want to make sure i’m leveraging them the right way to add real value in this next stage.
in the short term, my biggest need is preparing for a conversation with a new dance franchise i’m working with. they’ve already brought me in to help train their teachers, but i believe my book could become a foundation for their entire franchise system if i present it right. i’ve done research and i know that having a textbook or resource like this can be a powerful tool for building standards in a franchise, but i want help negotiating this so i don’t undersell myself or miss the chance to show the value of what i bring.
