It began in 1997, when we offered solution-oriented coaching courses (Solutionfocused Coaching after Insoo Kimberg and Steve de Shazer) under the name "Weiterbildungsforum Basel".
In the first years the goal was to establish ourselves as an internationally recognized institute for short-term coaching. Since 2004, as one of the few institutes in the German-speaking world, we offer training and further education opportunities for coaches, which lead to an internationally recognized certificate, which is recognized by the world's largest coaching body (International Coach Federation).
More and more, we discovered how our participants - executives, project managers, HR managers and consultants - used the coaching ideas and tools in their daily lives and achieved lasting success with ease in a short time.
Surfing is our metaphor for the other way of mastering challenges and achieving goals. Like surfers in the ocean, our customers use existing forward-looking forces to be on the move with elegance and impact.
The promotion of this elegant ease of forwarding is our specialty: in the training context, in coaching, in company development and the training of executives.
