About Me

There comes a time when one just needs a simple guide, a few choice words of wisdom, and a plan to help with career decisions. Business and Education Connected was created when founder, and president, Aafke Loney, did not have the “real work experience” after being a “stay at home” mom for twenty years. The “real life” experience she had gained through immigrating into the United States, navigating professional sports, raising four children, decision making on local school/vocational tech educational boards and non profits, needed to be transferrable skills which “fit” into today’s workforce. Already having a Bachelors in Social Work, she went back to school, got her Master in Business Administration (MBA) and started Business and Education Connected, LLC. The career programs developed would help individuals, those who needed guidance in their next career steps of their life. To provide plans for students and adults as they enter or re-enter the workforce, regardless their age, education or work experience, To transfer their strengths, experience, skills and education to “fit” into the diverse workforce.
