Most people don't need a better exit plan. They need permission to want out.

The plan is usually fine. What costs you is the year before it. The one where everything looks fine from the outside, where you already know "not like this anymore" and don't yet know "then how." Most people spend that year quietly, and alone, and call it being sensible.

I've spent it more than once. A state company, then a corporation where I lasted three years, the shortest I've lasted anywhere, then my own audit and accounting firm, and now working for myself. Employed, employer, on my own: every version of it. So when we talk about leaving a salary behind, I'm not describing something I read about. I came from numbers. I like plans that survive contact with a Tuesday morning.

I trained in systemic coaching at Metasystème, the school founded by Alain Cardon, MCC. Two things follow from that, and you'll notice both in the first session. I ask a question and then I stay quiet, long enough for you to answer it honestly rather than quickly. And I start from the fact that you never arrive alone: your family, your colleagues, your parents, the people whose opinion you can still hear in your head are all in the room, whether we name them or not. Decisions get made inside that system. So that's where we look.

Here is where I'm not your answer. I don't do therapy and I don't work with addiction; those need a different professional and I will tell you so. And I won't hand you my recipe for your life. If what you want is somebody else's answer, I'll frustrate you.
You already have what you need. My job is to be the best possible company on the way to it.
