About Me
Do you hold back in meetings, knowing you have ideas but struggle to speak up? Do you feel overlooked or wonder if your quiet nature means you're not a leader? Are you ready for a new job or career but anxious about taking the leap?
I get it—because I was once that person.
Even with an MBA, I started my career as an admin at a large corporation. I worked hard and performed well, but I hesitated to share my ideas, unsure of myself and afraid of saying the wrong thing.
With the support of a coach, I finally learned how to advocate for myself and lead with confidence—without pretending to be someone I wasn’t. Eventually, I was promoted to a VP - presenting to the C-suite and leading teams across 50+ countries.
That journey taught me a powerful truth: you don’t have to be overly assertive to lead. You just need the right tools and mindset to lead authentically.
Today, as a Certified Professional Coach with 12+ years of experience, I help introverts/quiet achievers step into leadership or transition into fulfilling new careers where their strengths are recognized and valued.
I work best with professionals who:
✅ Are high performers but feel unseen or undervalued
✅ Want to lead but struggle to show up with confidence
✅ Need clarity and a strategy for their next career move
✅ Are tired of self-doubt and ready to take action
My mission is to help you turn inward, release fear-based thinking, and move forward with clarity, authenticity, and confidence.
For aspiring leaders, I offer powerful tools to help you speak up with confidence, influence key stakeholders, present as a leader and navigate company dynamics to earn recognition and promotion. For job seekers, I guide you through the full career transition process—revamping your résumé and LinkedIn, preparing for interviews, and negotiating offers.
You don’t need to be overly assertive to be heard. You just need to show up as your authentic self—with confidence, clarity and conviction.

VerifiedI had the privilege of working with Alison Larson during a pivotal stage of my career, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our very first meeting, I was struck by her ability to understand the “big picture” of who I am after asking just a few thoughtful questions. When a major job opportunity arose, Alison went far above and beyond to support me. She dedicated entire weekends to helping me craft a strong resume and prepare thoroughly. For the interviews, she researched the interviewers in advance, created tailored mock questions, and provided invaluable advice. After each interview, she immediately followed up, and we met again over Zoom to debrief and refine my approach. Even after I secured the position, Alison has continued to check in, encourage me, and offer her support. Alison’s commitment, skill, and genuine care go far beyond what I ever expected from a coach. She not only helped me move forward professionally, but also gave me the confidence and clarity I needed throughout the process. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated, insightful, and truly exceptional coach.

To Whom It May Concern, I would like to begin by saying that Allison is a wonderful coach with a truly beautiful soul. After Walmart Health closed down locations across the United States, Ialong with over 1,000 other team memberslost my job. During that incredibly difficult transition, Allison supported me every step of the way. This wasnt just the loss of a job for me. It was the loss of a passion and a mission to help improve the lives of individuals and families by removing barriers to quality health care. I mourned not only the end of my dream career but also the amazing team I had and the community members I could no longer serve. Allison helped me navigate this grieving process and guided me as I prepared for a new chapter in my professional journey. She encouraged me to stay true to myself while remaining professional. She helped me rebuild my résumé, identify job opportunities aligned with my education and experience, prepare for interviews, negotiate salary and benefits, and so much more. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who has recently lost a job or is looking for a new career path. Her knowledge, encouragement, and insight are invaluable. She is a phenomenal coach, supporter, motivator, and now, a lifelong friend. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work with hershe has changed my life and my familys life in ways I could have never imagined. Thanks to Allisons step-by-step guidance, I was able to land my next career move as a Sales Director. She empowered me to believe in myself, advocate for my worth, and confidently step into my next role. Sincerely, Boravy Dunn

Alison looks at the whole person when helping to navigate a career path. I am in my 50's and wasn't sure how best to balance work and personal goals. Alison is interested in you as a person, and actually listens. She sees things from various perspectives and gives good, practical, and supportive advice. She is always willing to go above and beyond, and won't stop until the goal is met!

Alison is an incredibly kind and passionate coach, who you can trust to guide you through any situation. I worked with Alison when on a job search after being impacted at a previous role. She gave me detailed and specific feedback on my resume and LinkedIn, helping me improve both for applications. She was proactive in scheduling regular sessions and even took the time to send over relevant job postings. When it came to interviews, she took the time to meet with me and help practice my answers to common interview questions. She paid attention and gave relevant advice to boost my confidence. I was always impressed by her dedication, availability, and genuinely caring nature. With Alison's help, I successfully landed a great position aligned with my skills and experience.
