About Me

I grew up in a broken home filled with trauma, shame, guilt, and grief. From a young age, I battled anxiety — the kind that kept me awake at night, terrified I wouldn’t wake up in the morning. I carried that fear into adulthood, and as a military spouse for 22 years, the constant worry that my husband might not return from war only deepened my anxiety.

For years, I sought help — sometimes finding it, but never quite connecting with the right support. It wasn’t until my 40s that I found a counselor who helped me begin the real work of healing. That insight allowed me to make lasting, healthy changes and begin living a life aligned with who I truly am.

Around that same time, my son came out as gay. While I’ve always supported him and continue to be proud of his courage, I was surprised to experience a sense of grief — not because of who he is, but because I had to let go of unconscious expectations and fears I didn’t even realize I was holding. I did the inner work to process those emotions and showed up fully as the parent he deserved.

Then came menopause — another chapter that knocked me off balance. The hormonal changes took a toll, but I leaned back into therapy, received guidance around HRT, and continued the journey of healing and growth.

Through it all, I discovered a passion for helping others navigate life's hardest transitions. I became a life coach to walk alongside those who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or lost — because I’ve been there. I know how isolating it can feel, and I also know the way forward is possible.
