About Me

I am a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. It is my mission to help you define and clarify your goals and dreams, to help you chart a course forward, and to help you equip yourself to reach new goals, ambitions, and effectiveness - in short, to manage your change.

I have worked in a variety of industries, in for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations. I have worked in entry level jobs, middle management, and executive leadership positions. I became a Gallup Certified Strength Coach because coaching is what I was created to do and I have a proven track record of change management. I love helping people achieve their dreams and opening their hearts and minds to unlimited possibilities!

I hold a B.S. in Music Education, an MBA, and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Development. My interest in nonprofit boards guided my dissertation and developed expertise in the area of nonprofit boards. I am particularly adept at helping boards make necessary changes.

My husband, Jim, and I have been married 40 years, and have two children, a fantastic son-in-law, and six terrific grandchildren (ages 15 years - 18 months)!

In my spare time, when I'm not taking courses to improve my coaching ability, I read extensively, play the piano, do calligraphy, and quilt. Quilting and calligraphy bring all the creative bits together. Each of these hobbies directly relate to my strengths of achiever, strategic, learner, futuristic, and relator.
