About Me

I am both a Life Coach and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received both my Bachelors and Masters degree from University of South Florida School of Social Work and I have been in the helping profession for over 10 years. My journey has led me to work with diverse groups of people including survivors of domestic violence, teen girls who experienced sexual abuse and involvement in the child welfare/legal systems, people living with HIV/AIDS, underinsured and underesourced folks from the LGBTQ+ community, and gang-involved adolescent boys in the carceral system.

I work through a holistic, relational, anti-oppressive, intersectionally feminist and culturally responsive lens. I am deeply passionate about the healing and liberation of women. I believe that it is necessary to acknowledge oppression, colonialism, white supremacy, patriarchy, gender violence, and capitalism as directly complicit in our burnout, self-doubt, distress and dis-ease.

My clients describe me as nurturing and radical, and I have been compared to Khadijah from “Living Single” and “that auntie your mama sends you to live with for the summer after you get in trouble.” It brings me great joy to support people in seeing their own greatness and I am honored to be able to help that process unfold.

I believe in the healing of people through witnessing and affirming their stories, collaborating and co-creating the approach that feels right for them, and honoring people as the experts in their own lives and liberation. I’ll meet you where you are and tailor our work together to what feels right for you. While I do know some things, you are the expert on what’s right for you, and I will be the guide to lovingly point out some stuff that might be sabotaging your joy and cheer you on when need some encouragement to take a leap.
