Hi, I’m Bruce Dougherty, founder of Discover U (aconsciouspartner).
Most people don’t struggle because they’re broken.
They struggle because they were never taught how relationships, boundaries, emotions, and self-worth actually work.
I help individuals and couples gain real insight into themselves and their patterns—without blame, shame, or therapy jargon.
My approach is grounded, practical, and honest. We focus on awareness, responsibility, and actionable growth so you can stop repeating the same cycles and start making intentional choices.

What Bruce offers with the events and programs at ACP is phenomenal. It's "off the charts" helpful, more than anything I've come across for self growth. He addresses with such clarity and detail the significant components of human behavior needed to become more secure. And he does it with a clear power point sprinkled with video clip examples follwed by lively discussion as a group. Another thing he does well is manage a large group discussion especially when participants trigger over a concept that hits close to home. He encourages all opinions to be voiced and is open to consider new angles and healthy responses not taken into account previously in the presentation. More than once, I have seen him take a new perspective or feedback from the group and incorporated into his presentation for next time. He truly wants to help all of us become more secure. The best word I can find to describe what I'm feeling is complete, his classes feel complete. Taking one program such as "Stop the Drama" is helpful and will give you a lot of good information, but when you couple that with a Discover U 1:1 and plot a path to becoming secure and incorporate all of the programs over a year, you will have just about everything you need to support you on self growth journey. One of my favorite things about Bruce is that he has learned how to truly be vulnerable. He is honest about his journey and the shifts he has made and because of that you trust that he can help guide you to make similar shifts in how you show up in your relationships. I can't recommend his courses enough. I have taken them at least 3 times each now and I am still seeing new parts of myself that are growing because of the awareness I am gaining from the events.
