About Me
Chavisa Horemans, a.k.a. The Mother Corp., is a subject-matter expert in trauma-informed services, drawing from academic, professional, and lived expertise.
I am a Trauma-Informed Coach and Consultant with an interdisciplinary Master’s degree in social sciences and a Graduate Diploma in adult education. I specialize in Gender-Based Violence, Hidden Abuse, and Post-Separation Abuse.
I am a Certified Divorce Coach (CDC, ICF) specializing in parents in high-conflict disputes and hidden abuse. Recognized by the American Bar Association as a dispute resolution practitioner, I engage in ongoing trauma-informed training.
My evidence-based, holistic practice integrates Trauma Recovery (CTRC) and Jikiden Reiki. I am certified in both.
I work with individuals facing relationship breakdown, separation, divorce, and complex bureaucratic systems. My confidential, personalized, responsive one-on-one coaching provides effective emotional, logistical, and practical support. Clients gain insights into system navigation, strategy, and appropriate resources in order to problem-solve and make informed decisions.
For parents, I address all aspects of parenting and co-parenting, prioritizing children's best interests and agreements and supporting them through conflict and trauma.
I help clients process overwhelm, exhaustion, and isolation, fostering relief, ease and wellbeing.
Safety and wellness are incorporated into every session.
I support clients in achieving relationship closure and building the next chapter of their life that thrives.
This service complements legal professionals, therapists, and financial planners.
