About Me
I am not a teacher or a preacher. I am a guide. Someone who has been through a lot of shit and come out the other side.
Professionally, I led troops as a West Point Infantry Officer in Afghanistan, invented a product, launched a startup, served as CEO, earned an MBA, and thrived in the high-stakes world of entrepreneurship.
Personally, I survived childhood sexual trauma, religious extremism, a devastating business collapse, and the loss of a marriage.
I’ve had my mind and body broke under the weight of it all. I spent years rebuilding from the ground up without a support system. Today, the suicidal ideations that haunted me from the age of 12 are gone. What remains is a new life, built by burning every false identity I once wore.
My Approach
I coach those standing at the crossroads. People who are ready to confront their old story, burn it down if needed, and create something powerful from the ashes.
I work best with creatives, entrepreneurs, deep feelers, and survivors who are ready to do the real work: reclaiming purpose, rebuilding trust in themselves, and daring to live with power and imagination.
I am direct, compassionate, intuitive, and fully committed to your transformation.
As far as process, the first step is always speaking to a client.
The individual is all. Everyone has their own experiences. I’m going to listen. To how each person talks about themselves. How they talk about others. How they view their story. Then, I’m going to see if they are open to seeing things differently. How open? How willing to change? What can they handle?
And that’s when we start. Some individuals may need a daily checklist. Some might need to be challenged to live without one.

Cy guided me toward my own clarity without imposing his views. His thoughtful, direct approach created a space where some difficult truths became accessible. Cy is exceptionally intuitive - he didn't just hear my words but understood what wasn't being said as well. Through insightful questions and genuine presence, he helped me navigate challenges I had been avoiding. His lived experience adds depth to his coaching that simply can't be taught. If you're looking for someone who will truly see you and help you see yourself more clearly, Cy is that coach.

Its rare to find someone who stands beside you even when you're at your worst, and that someone is Cy Hudson. Though hes served in the army, earned multiple degrees, invented arms products, and published books, Cys true greatness lies within his life experience. He always remains relatable whilst intellectual, humble whilst impressive, and trustworthy whilst challenging.

Cy was incredibly insightful and communicated in such a supportive way without selling me out. I really appreciated his ability to offer constructive feedback in a way that still affirmed what I wanted to accomplish. I've had the benefit of observing him provide the same quality of reflection to others and can reliably recommend this man as an empathic listener who will hold you accountable to achieving your goals.

As a human being, Cy is an excellent listener in the sense that you can feel his physical attunement in the space. As someone who has struggled with CPTSD, this is especially important because it's very affirmative and reassuring. I've worked with many therapists and coaches, and few have allowed me to feel as heard as Cy has. I know he has walked into the fire himself, and done the shadow work that few truly have the courage to do at such a deep level, so there is a genuine energy of non-judgement and unconditional love in the space he holds. I would highly recommend Cy to anyone seeking additional guidance while in treatment for PTSD/CPTSD, and especially for those exploring shadow, inner-child and parts work.

Working with Cy has been one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences of my personal journey. His presence, insight, and ability to challenge with both compassion and precision have had a profound impact on my growth, far beyond what I initially expected from coaching. Cy has a remarkable gift for helping you see yourself with clarity. He guided me through deep, often uncomfortable terrainunpacking long-held beliefs around self-worth and self-acceptance, and encouraging me to explore what was real, not just what was familiar. He didnt sugarcoat the work, and Im grateful he didnt. He challenged me to step into discomfort, to question my own assumptions, and to embrace the kind of honesty that can be hard to face but is essential for true growth. What I value most is how deeply invested he isnot just in helping you set goals, but in helping you become more fully yourself. His coaching isnt transactional but rather relational. The space he creates is safe but provocative, which is a rare and powerful combination. Because of Cy, Im more grounded in who I am, more confident in the way I relate to the world, and more aligned with what truly matters to me and my core self. If youre looking for a coach who will challenge you with integrity, work with you through the hard stuff, and help you come home to yourself, Cy is someone you want to work with.

Cy is an embodied learner with a penchant for leaning into transformation. He used his military experience to teach me how force multiplier strategy could be applied to a couple areas of my life. In addition, hes just a really gentle soul who helped reframe how critical I can be of myself.

Life can feel like moving through the acts of a great play and working with Cy helped me see my story with a level of clarity I had never accessed before. He has a rare ability to spot the deeper themes and turning points underneath the surface, and he helped me reconnect to something I had almost forgotten: my own inner knowing. Through our work together, I stopped looking for external validation to make decisions and started trusting the compass inside me, even when I couldnt see the entire map. One of Cys greatest strengths is his willingness to meet you exactly where you are, while challenging you to be honest with yourself. He doesnt let you slip into easy half-truths or old illusions and that kind of honesty, delivered with care, is a rare and powerful gift. In facing parts of my story that I once avoided, I found new strength and freedom. Cy doesnt give you answers or tell you which path to walk. Instead, he helps you remember that the choices were always yours to make. If youre ready to stop outsourcing your power and start living from your own truth, I wholeheartedly recommend working with Cy.
