About Me

My formal education is in accounting and finance. Although I excelled in this area I was not happy with “pushing numbers” and ended up going for management positions. I am much more of a people person and enjoy being engaged with individuals. I have happily been managing people and businesses for over 30 years in various areas of responsibilities. I have had the great opportunity to work in numerous industries from Boat Building, Communications, Medical Office Management, Retail Store, Mail Order / Web based Specialty, Entertainment Production and Real Estate. In every position I held my enjoyment came from working with people, helping the company grow and in the end making sure through wise decisions a profit was made.

To become a better mentor and trainer I decided to become a Certified Professional Coach and set out to find the best coaching school possible. IPEC, Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, was rated by the International Coaching Federation as the number one school in the world. I knew I found the best to receive my training. I am very happy I attended and went through the arduous education and experience. I now am equipped with the tools and skills necessary to help people become the best they want to be.

I prefer to be known as a confidant for my clients. I believe the individual that is in a leadership position, whether it be an owner of a business, an executive in a corporation, a person in a management position, or an entrepreneur needs someone they can talk to in total confidence. I have worn all of these hats and can identify directly with the need. In my opinion the person the leadership position cannot share intimate thoughts, fears or brainstorm with the people who they report to, individuals they lead or even to their significant other because of showing possible signs of weakness or doubt.
