About Me

My philosophy is one day, one Step at a time. My company is named Course Correction as that is what we aim to do.
Dennis is a Diabetes Lifestyle Coach and Food For Life Instructor.
Dennis started out as Health & Life Insurance broker. Working with Individuals and organizations developing health insurance solutions with cost containment strategies. Overtime he realized that costs containment was more than just financial.
This lead him to look at Lifestyle management strategies built on evidence based medical research. He studied as a Health Coach through IIN. From there he was selected to become a Food For Life instructor through the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine ( PCRM). Dennis recently completed the Diabetes Lifestyle Coaching certification that is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Because of his own health journey his practice focus is on Diabetes & Heart Disease Food and Lifestyle Managment.

Dennis also trained in Leadership coaching under the John Maxwell Program.

On the health insurance front he still works with Organizations in designing lifestyle/wellness management strategies to reduce medical costs, as well as assisting individuals in stretching their financial resources.

As a Food For Life instructor he teaches Whole Foods plant based cooking & shows people how they can eat healthy on $50 per week.

Dennis is also a disabled Veteran of the US Marine Corps.
