I specialize in working with teens and young adults to help them develop the skills and positive attitude to successfully manage their time and make good choices to reach their goals in and out of the classroom. As a result, confidence soars, grades improve, and challenges are seen as opportunities to achieve success. Students learn skills that will serve them well throughout their school years and in life.
Today's students have a lot on their plates. As a mother of two boys, I understand the frustration parents feel watching their child struggle as they try to juggle school, homework, sports, practice, after-school activities, and more. Students are increasingly feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, and finding it difficult to achieve balance in their lives.
I give students the tools they need to become confident, happy, successful individuals who are confident in making positive choices. Once students learn the concepts I teach them, they feel in control and empowered to do their best in every aspect of their life.
Topics I coach around include:
Developing Good Study Habits
Handling Peer and Social Pressures
Transitioning into High School
College Application and Selection Process
Working Through a Parents' Divorce
Change and Transition
The student and I work together to identify problem areas and uncover what is preventing them from being their best. We then create a plan with specific steps they can take to make positive changes and reach their goals.
Students are busy, so coaching via phone or video calling gets results without having to spend time traveling to an office.
I have a bachelor's degree in Communications, a Post-B.A. Certificate in Child Advocacy, and am a Certified Professional Coach. I am also a United Way certified mentor and a coach with Grad Life Choices, a free assistance program for unemployed college graduates.

I want to thank Diana so much for helping me these few weeks. Talking with her was so easy, and she always made me feel comfortable. Even though I came to her first for one task, I ended up having a new job opportunity happening during the time we talked. She changed with me and that made me feel so good. Not only was she easy to talk to, but she kept me on track and helped me with many things I didn't know I wanted help with. Her positive energy was so powerful and transferred onto me.Natalie S., Massachusetts
"Before I started talking to Diana, I was feeling very lost, frustrated and depressed. I had graduated with a BA in English and was working for minimum wage at a local store. Diana’s career coaching allowed me to open myself up to possibilities, and I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for her."Yvonne H., Morris County, NJ
“Diana is a skilled inquisitor, an active listener and an insightful coach who has an excellent ability to help her clients identify and break through whatever obstacles are holding them back and preventing them from achieving their desired goals.”—Cheryl Dillon, Divorce & Life Reinvention Coach, Equitable Mediation Services
“Diana is an insightful, trusted advisor. She is a skillful listener and somehow has the ability to provide guidance that is always right on the mark. She is a delight to work with.”—Charlie Matteis, Director of Organizational Development and Learning, Montclair State University
"When I first graduated college I panicked. I felt lost and as if I lacked any sort of direction. Diana really helped me to organize my thoughts and develop a plan for the future. We spoke weekly and she provided me with insight, resources, suggestions and tools for improving my life. After just 12 weeks of working with her, I had applied to six graduate programs. I’m not sure that I would have been able to accomplish this without her guidance and coaching! She is remarkable and really assisted me in getting my life on track! ”—Sara P., Bergen County, NJ
"Diana is very warm, friendly, and genuine. She listens without judgment but has a way of getting to the root of the issue. I looked forward to speaking with her every week and she gave me very practical tools on how to organize my time and space, and to recognize my strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly, she helped me understand that carving out time for myself, setting boundaries, and saying ‘no’ to people are all OK. I would highly recommend Diana to anyone struggling through their career or personal lives; having trouble reaching their goals; and anyone who felt as overwhelmed as I did.”—Rabiye H., Jersey City, NJ
“When my son was having difficulty making a decision about which college to attend, Diana coached him by e-mail and covered all the points he was struggling with, as well as some things that crossed his mind. He thought about it for two days, and then bingo, a decision. Diana is more than a life coach. Give her a try.”—Linda M., Bergen County, NJ
