About Me
Do you wonder whether you’ve accomplished enough? Do you describe achievements with a disclaimer about what could have been better, or keep taking on work you know isn’t a great fit because you hope it will lead to “opportunities” or “exposure?” Does the idea of feeling truly, radiantly proud of your creative work feel impossible?
Spoiler: Habitual self-judgment doesn’t make better work.
In fact, feeling good never blocks your creative flow – it opens the floodgates. "But as an artist," you may be thinking, "I never feel like career advice applies to me." I get it. That’s why my Maker Mindset process helps you see which habits lead you toward your most authentic work – and which well-worn thoughts block your way. Clients report after working with me, they approach their work with kinder understanding, clearer intention, and deeper inspiration. I offer genuine feedback, systems for tracking progress, and a structured method to peel back layers of comparison and confusion, to uncover the perceptive abilities and skills that define your unique, irreplaceable way of making – and being.
Creativity is at my core – but I didn’t always see it as a gift. Starting violin at 4, I made it into a conservatory, earned a Master’s, and performed on 6 continents. I recorded solo albums, led bands, and won an audition to tour as a U.S. cultural ambassador. “You have such a cool life!” people told me. But none of it felt like it added up – so I gave up and got a non-creative job. Colleagues encouraged me, but it was no use – until my first coaching mentor saw how paralyzed I’d become. “You do know what you want, love,” she told me. “You just haven’t learned to listen for it yet.” Through coaching, I learned to filter out the noisy “shoulds" to listen for the "wants" -- and to celebrate the results. In 2024, I won a 10,000 dollar grant for an original composition, and a podcast I scored was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
You do know what you want. Let's make it happen.

Dina is one of the most brilliant, attentive, and caring coaches Ive had the privilege to know. She draws on a rich understanding of numerous disciplines and is a natural listener who is curious, open-minded, and masterful at supporting breakthrough insights. Her ability to blend vulnerability with grounded wisdom makes every interaction authentic and impactful. I experienced Dina as a coach with exceptional observation skills, integrity, and courage. Combined with her dedication to lifelong learning, these qualities make her an extraordinary partner in any coaching journey. Choosing to work with Dina means working with one of the very best coaches out there - someone who will inspire, challenge, and support you at the highest level.

Since my background is in traditional and punk music, I had never done much arranging and didn't know much beyond counting to four and trying to start and stop together as a band. Working on this record with Dina has opened my mind to so many dynamic possibilities that I could hear when listening to other people's music, but struggled to implement in my own. Through her guidance over the course of working on my upcoming album, I have come away confident that I have a solid understanding of arrangement that I can share with others on upcoming projects as a producer and engineer. I couldn't have done it without her!
