About Me

My name is Dorota Klop-Sowinska, I am international career coach in Amsterdam, originally from Poland, living in the Netherlands for more than 18 years. In 2009 I obtained my certified coach/counselor diploma from the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy. This institute has already 30 years experience in providing education in the area of counseling, coaching, NLP and psychotherapy. The coach/counselor study was provided according to the guidelines of the British Association for Counseling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I am accredited as ‘Basis Counsellor’ at the Dutch Association for Counselors. I also obtained a European Certificate of Counsellors Accreditation from European Association of Counsellors.

In 2020, I have completed a new breakthrough studies in neurocoaching. I have obtained a Brain-Based Coaching Certificate and Results Trained Coach certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute.

In 2009 I have started my company in the areas of expat coaching, life coaching, career coaching and counseling which focuses on internationals / expats. At the beginning of 2010, I lived for several months in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in 2015/16 in Mexico City. As a coach/counselor with an international background, I was providing coaching in forms of various workshops and individual sessions to the expat community of Sao Paulo. Currently, I am working with the internationals and expats living in the Netherlands, but also all over the world. My clients come from / live(d) in China, Mexico, Brazil, UK, USA, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, Poland, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Egypt, Spain, and others.

I provide coaching & counseling in English, Dutch and Polish.

In 2019, I have published my first book “Career Jump! How to Successfully Change Your Professional Path.”

in 2022 I have published an eBook "How to Get a Job in the Netherlands".
