About Me

Being diagnosed with ADHD provided clarity on the challenges I faced for many years. Still, it didn't equip me with the resources to navigate the world as a Black neurodiverse woman. For 16 years, I ignored my neurodiversity, which came at a significant cost. Despite earning a dual master's, a doctorate, and many certifications, building a family, and establishing a business, my nervous system suffered. I lived in constant survival mode, leaving me irritable, exhausted, unhappy, and perpetually overstimulated.

Starting my own business was a turning point. While passionate about working for myself and making a more significant impact, I realized my executive functioning and regulating skills were lacking. Seeking help, getting on ADHD medication, and taking control of my life became imperative. I knew that if I was struggling, other women were too.

Living as a Black woman with ADHD in a predominantly white society presents unique challenges. Setting boundaries can be misinterpreted as aggression, passion can be seen as anger, and refusing tasks outside my job description can label me as not a team player. These experiences underscored the need for a specialized approach to coaching.

This is why the neuro-holistic coaching service exists—to help women of color build the skills, purpose, and drive to become the best versions of themselves while embracing and loving their whole selves. Let’s embark on this journey together.
