About Me
I’m Dr. Mario McCoy, and my work is rooted in helping early-stage business leaders bring structure to your personal brand/ physical goods business. If you’re wrestling with the questions of “what’s next, how do I grow on shopify, or how does my personal brand become the authority in my niche?"
My coaching philosophy is simple: connection creates currency. I help you, the leader who's struggling to make the career change and grow your brand, get structure, and gain intentional direction. I’ve built my personal brand and premium business from the ground up, with features in Forbes, GQ, Vogue, Entrepreneur, and more. Beyond the recognition, my greatest lesson has been learning how to have less clutter, identify what matters, and position business leaders like you to deliver market fit to address your specific niche's pain points.
I bring over 15 years of experience in education, business marketing, brand building, consumer behavior, and organizational leadership. I hold a Doctorate in Education (USC, Summa Cum Laude) and a Master’s in Administrative Leadership (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Summa Cum Laude). My specialities includes e-commerce, executive leadership, consulting, and personal/professional brand development.
On a personal note—I navigate life as a high-functioning autistic and I know what it feels like to be stuck in your mind, questioning your next step, wondering if building your personal brand is worth it, or struggling to align your why with your career choice. Those challenges don’t make you less, they make you human, and can become the very foundation of your breakthrough towards clarity in your career.
