About Me

Thank you for your interest in exploring my background for possible fit to your coaching needs.

My coaching focus is performance improvement. This includes career performance and exploration, leadership development, team development, and strategic planning.

My ideal client is someone who has a specific issue or set of issues that they would like to work on to gain better or optimal business or career performance. I also like to work with people who aren't sure what their issues are - they just know they could be performing better. I enjoy face-to-face interactions but am very comfortable working via the phone or internet. I use a variety of assessments to help delve your issues. Please see my website.

While my focus is business and career performance, I do relationship development also - personal and organizational. I am certified in the Relationship Awareness Program.

My coaching is supported by over 30 years of organizational development (OD) experience. That experience includes teaching Organizational Behavior at the Master's level for three major universities - including serving as adjunct faculty for a wholly on-line program.

I was formally trained in executive and team coaching as part of my OD development - before there was any formal certification. In addition to my OD experience, I have applied coaching experience from over 23 years in the US Army. I have deep small business experience coming from helping my wife with her small business - with over 9 employees and 6 figure annual gross. Additionally, I have continued to develop both my skills and process knowledge so am quite up to date in coaching approaches and methodologies.

Indeed, when coach certifications became vogue, I considered establishing a school to provide certification but decided not to. In other words, I have more than enough knowledge and experience. to help you perform better.
