His career includes significant roles with industry leaders such as Parke-Davis/Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, where he led several scientific teams, including the National Urology and Managed Markets Field-based Medical Organizations teams.

At Boehringer Ingelheim, Emil established and directed the Medical Publications Department for the company's US division. His extensive pharmaceutical industry experience led him to create HALDEY Pharmaceutical Compounding, one of the largest and most highly accredited compounding pharmacies, with a patient-first philosophy.
