About Me

Hi, I’m Eric Pater, a Certified Life Mapping and Veteran Development Coach dedicated to helping veterans, their families, and recent graduates find fulfilling careers and rediscover their purpose. My mission is to guide you to a life that aligns with your passions and strengths.

As a retired Army veteran with 20+ years of service and 12 years as a corporate manager, I’ve navigated the transition from military to civilian life. I’ve faced deployments, combat, divorce, loss, anxiety, depression, and PTSD – and emerged stronger, finding my own purpose through resilience and growth. My coaching certification focuses on supporting service members, veterans, and their families. I’m well-versed in VA mental health and career programs and work seamlessly with clients seeing counselors or therapists.

My leadership has always centered on mentoring. In the Army and corporate world, people joined my teams for my fair, supportive approach, and I celebrated their successes, even when it meant losing talent to promotions. After I endured unfulfilling jobs post-service, I discovered my calling: helping others find their path faster.

My coaching is personal and empowering. We’ll build a connection to understand your goals and challenges. Using positive psychology tools like mindfulness and journaling, you’ll gain clarity on what matters most. Many veterans struggle to find their “Purpose After Service,” as transition programs often focus only on job placement. Recent graduates also face limited career guidance. I’ve been there and can help you move beyond these gaps to a future that excites you.
