About Me
For as long as I can remember I've been a fanatic for great communication. I grew up in a family of constant argument and miscommunication, and when I walked into my first communication class in college I was hooked. I was specifically captivated by conflict resolution skills, and did both a B.A. and an M.A. in those studies.
I've both taught college (11 years) and done business consulting (18 years) on this subject, but my particular passion is working with individuals, couples and families. So few people have the basic tools they need to make communication and conflict resolution effective, healthy and safe.
And so many people are scared and leery of conflict! I help people develop healthy boundaries, more effective communication skills and learn to be much less anxious when dealing with conflict. These are things anyone can learn, with a little practice and some professional help.

Erik is very responsive and great to work with. He gives actual tools you can implement outside of your sessions. I enjoyed working with him because he would make me realize some hard truths about myself without feeling attacked or the need to get defensive. He is a great communicator and teaches you how to become better as well.

Erik Kieser is an incredible coach and one of the quickest studies of human nature I've ever met. I worked with him over a difficult year when I was trying to get through my resistance in starting a legal division of assets process I was afraid to begin. His extensive learning and powerful skills allowed him to size up my situation and get to the heart of my impasse in a short period of time. Erik's powerful vision cut through the fog of my defensiveness and self-protection. Yet his approach always felt gentle and compassionate and supportive. He followed up with concrete action steps and in subsequent sessions he picked up the threads that had dropped and reinforced the things previously covered in way that conditioned the solutions in my mind so that the lessons "took". After each session with Erik I felt centered and focused and with the tools I needed to take concrete steps. . I also got a fascinating reading list out of our conversations. Bottom line: Erik Kieser gets results. I've recommended him to friends and colleagues and they all marvel at his ability to size up problems and find effective action steps in a rapid and seemingly effortless fashion. I give Erik Kieser my highest recommendation.

Erik is amazing! After 11 years of marriage Michael and I were struggling and not really even speaking to each other. After one session with Erik we had some tools to use to begin the processes of either repairing or ending our marriage with love. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
