    About Me

    Hi, I’m Fiona, health coach and creator of the Active Break Method, a practical, science-backed approach to fitness designed for busy women in their 40s.

    I help women integrate 5-minute active breaks into the workday so they can move more, sit less, and feel better. Whether you're restarting your fitness journey, stuck in a desk job that leaves you drained, or just need a routine that fits your life, I’m here to help.

    I’ve been in your shoes. In my 40s, a little overweight and managing health challenges, I found myself struggling to rebuild the fitness habits I thought I had. Covid magnified everything, the sitting, the stress, the slow creep of aches and fatigue. What worked in my 20s no longer worked, and it was a shock to realise my body didn’t just bounce back like it used to.

    That led me to dive into my MSc Dance Science research and develop a framework that helped me rebuild my fitness, balance my workday, and feel better overall, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

    Now, I use that same framework to support others through practical, science-informed coaching. I help you integrate simple, sustainable movement habits into your day so you can feel
    more energised, capable, and confident in your body, no matter your starting point.
