Throughout the calls we had, the biggest thing that I received was a sense of hope. Before, I had almost given up on the idea of marriage because of my situation. However, hearing from your personal experiences and hearing how you overcame the problems you faced was a huge help for me to receive reassurance that marriage isn't such an unattainable thing.
