OWATE Consulting was created because I noticed a severe information gap among professionals, especially those relatively new to the workforce. Over the years, I have observed situations where people avoid salary negotiations for fear of job loss, feel severely overwhelmed at the thought of interviews, believe that being introverted = zero career progression in the corporate world, and are oblivious to their job prospects despite having a wealth of knowledge, skills and work experiences.

I have experienced similar thoughts in the past; however, as I gained an in-depth understanding of the labour market system through my research and experience in subsequent roles that made this employment knowledge more explicit, these thoughts were eradicated.
